On behalf of the the UNDP/GEF/PEMSEA Arafura and Timor Seas Ecosystem Approach 2 (ATSEA2) Program and UNDP’s Global Marine Commodities (GMC) project, we would like to invite you to a Webinar on Mainstreaming Gender and Social Inclusion in Fishery and Marine Sector in the Arafura and Timor Seas Region. The online event will be on June 10 at 9:00am to 11:30am (Jakarta time).

The objectives of the Webinar is to 1) discuss how gender and inclusion lens can further be applied in fishery sector to ensure that minorities’ and women’s roles are appreciated and that they are empowered to further participate in the development of sustainable fishery and marine resource management; and 2) to present case study on experiences, challenges, and guidance in mainstreaming gender and inclusion in fishery and marine sector.
