The 13th East Asian Seas Partnership Council Meeting was held virtually on July 28th 2021 for the Council and Technical Sessions while on July 29th for the Technical and Intergovernmental Sessions via a Zoom conference call.
The meeting was used to share updates on the preparations for the 2021 EAS Congress 2021, the second draft of the 7th Ministerial Declaration of the EAS Partnership and the revised midterm review report of the 2018-2022 Implementation Plan (IP) of the Sustainable Development Strategy for the Seas of East Asia (SDS-SEA) was shared for review and/or endorsement of the Council, and conduct initial planning for the formulation of the SDS-SEA IP 2023-2030.
