Background

The training covered the concept, framework, and practice of integrated coastal management (ICM) and marine spatial planning (MSP), including the challenges faced, in the EAS region. The training also discussed potential areas for collaboration among the participants and explored ways of utilizing ICM and MSP to achieve regional and global commitments and targets for sustainable development of the EAS.
